Wooden Solitaire
Solitaire is a board game for one player involving movement of balls on a board with holes. According to a popular story, the game was invented by a French aristocrat in the 17th century, when incarcerated in the Bastille. In other sources, the invention of the game is attributed to the American Indians using arrows stuck in the ground. Yet another account places it a Viking Game. The object of the game is, making valid moves, to empty the entire board except for a solitary ball in the central hole. Contents: Wooden Playing Board, 32 Wooden Balls & instruction.
