Tyrannosaurus Rex
Tyrannosaurus rex was one of the largest land carnivores of all time, about 12 to 13 meters long, and 4.5-5 m tall, when fully-grown. Tyrannosaur teeth could crush bone, a skill perhaps used to extract as much food (bone marrow) as possible from carcass remnants, usually the least nutritious parts. Since at least some of Tyrannosaurus's prey could move quickly, evidence that it walked instead of ran could indicate that it was a scavenger not a hunter.
