To mark the new Smurf film coming out in summer 2011, Smurfette from the 3D film is also available as a Schleich figure. Smurfette is a female smurf who was created by Gargamel. In the cartoon she originally had black hair, though this turned blonde when Papa Smurf worked all night to make her a real smurf. Until the creation of Sassette she was the only female Smurf in the village.
